Well it is March 7 and the teasing begins. Daffodils, Tulip trees, cherry trees...all are beginning to bloom. Pollen counts are rising, sniffles have started, and Spring Break is just around the corner. Today the Temperature will be around 61 degrees. However, Thursday the high will be 48.
The month of March teases all of us for 31 days. Warm, cold, blooming, frost bitten...we never know from day to day which way the pendulum will swing. But, I would not trade this for the freezing cold , snow covered states that only can dream of 60 degree temps. Our Northern friends only wish they could dig out as quickly as we in Athens Georgia do each March. The mere site of the sun shining causes Georgia residents to conduct major cleaning projects, wash their cars, begin house hunting, start the annual yard overhaul and so much more.
I am sending an official invitation for all of you Northerners to move on down. The sky is so bright you have to wear shades.
